Our Sustainable Development Goals

The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals will be SDU's goals

It is our goal that SDU is working ambitiously and wholeheartedly with all of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals and that they will affect all of SDU in relation to our research, education programmes and administration. In accordance with the Danish University Act, we respect the individual's freedom of research and thus the right to choose the object and method of research. At the same time, the UN's Sustainable Development Goals are being promoted as a theme for interdisciplinary research cooperation. Social, economic and environmental development, climate, peace, security and international cooperation are closely linked, and it takes an integrated effort to achieve sustainable development results.
