Entry requirements

A bachelor's degree in Physics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronical Engineering or Power Engineering provided your academic qualifications correspond with those of a bachelor in Physics and Technology from  SDU.

Language Requirements

Study start September 1 for Danish language programmes: 
Applicants with a foreign qualifying exam (Danish Citizens included ) will need to have passed Danish A Level, or the higher education exam in Danish as second language, or be able to document Danish language skills equivalent to Danish A Level.

Applicants from the Nordic countries need to document Norwegian/Swedish/Finnish/Icelandic  at a level equivalent to Danish A. Please see details on the following link: see here

Applicants who have a bachelor degree in engineering may, subject to an academic evaluation, be allowed to substitute the requirement for having achieved English level B, with activities conducted in English during the courses that have qualified the applicant. These activities shall at least fulfill the following criteria:
- have completed a study of at least 10 ECTS,
- have been taught in English, and
- that the activity/activities included an English written product (such as an essay, a report or a similar product).

 

Enclosures

 Please note that the basis for the evaluation of your application is the material you have included in your application. This means that it is very important that you make sure to include all relevant enclosures to your application.

The deadline for submitting any relevant enclosures and applying for the September 2016 intake is April 1st, 2016.
The deadline for submitting any relevant enclosures and applying for the February 2017 intake is November 1st, 2016.

If we, during the processing of your application, become aware that the enclosures you have submitted are inadequate, we will contact you no later than April 23rd, 2016, for the September 2016 intake and no later than November 23rd, 2016, for the February 2017 intake.

The following enclosures are mandatory for all programmes at SDU:
• Bachelor’s diploma including all transcripts with grades and course credits (preferably in one pdf. File) – stamped and signed by the university.
• If you have not finished your Bachelor’s degree you must submit the newest transcripts with grades and course credits.
• Proof of English language proficiency. Please see our rules on the English Language Requirements website.
