MSc in Environmental Engineering - Salary and employment opportunities

Employment opportunities

Over the last 30 years, unemployment levels for engineers have remained below general unemployment levels for academics. Current job opportunities for engineers are very good - in April 2019 unemployment was at 2.4% (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations' statistics for unemployment, p9).

The BSc/civil engineer study programme leads to the 5th highest lifetime income in Denmark, according to a survey by the Economic Council of the Labour Movement.

According to the engineering association IDA, in 2019 the recommended minimal salary for BSc graduates is 39,800 DKK and 37,900 DKK for BEng graduates.
