With a profile in Electronics Engineering you will specialise in the development of analogue electronics and power electronics and will become an expert in development of electronic elements of mechatronic products and systems. You will learn about the newest components and development methods in the development of electronics for surveillance, control, data-gathering, signal processing and regulation. You will be qualified for a wide range of jobs in the electronic or mechatronic industry where the development of electronic elements is in focus.

It is important that you are interested in electronic development as, in addition to the electronic element, you will gain a wide knowledge of and skills in mechatronic areas and software development. It is typical of technological development that modern products contain both mechanics, electronics and software.

With this profile you will work with signal processing (both digital and analogue), power electronics (power components, circuit design, modelling of components and simulation of circuitry), high-frequency techniques (antenna theory, transmission-line theory, communications standards) and design of reliable electronic systems.
