International environment and teaching
The study programme is taught in English and is set in an international environment of both Danish and international students. This adds a large degree of freedom to your studies. It is, for example, unproblematic to study abroad for one or two semesters. We have a major network of industrial partners and partner universities throughout the world.
Although GMM is taught in English this does not necessarily imply that we expect flawless English from your very first day. The general idea is that you strengthen your linguistic skills during your studies.
Thus, while from the start you must be able to communicate well in English you will get plenty of opportunities to improve your linguistic skills through dialogue with teachers and fellow students.
Project work and company problem solver
You become part of a project based and problem based study environment where you work in project groups.
You and your fellow students:
- Are responsible for planning and carrying out the project
- Must work together and meet the deadlines
- Solve problems for companies
- Have access to dedicated space for project Work.
Meet the students and read more about their projects and student life.
Internship and final project
In the sixth semester you must complete the engineering internship in a company in Denmark or abroad. Through the internship you acquire relevant work experience of great benefit to you in your following career. In the final semester you carry out the final project – usually in cooperation with a company.
