More about the programme

SDU Esbjerg hoveddør

The core of the programme is business economics and business administration, with focus on organizational and marketing challenges and solutions in developing enterprises, with related methodological themes. Students can choose from a range of courses including environmental and resource management to sports and event management.

Environmental concerns are increasing in importance for the business, sport, and event sectors as they are key players in the economy. Therefore, there is a demand for managers who have the knowledge and skills to address the special challenges that relate to these areas.

The courses are designed to combine theory and practice to give students the opportunity to build a strong theoretical base, as well as, acquire practical tools that are useful in the workplace.

The courses are structured over four quarters and are a combination of project, group work, and lectures. If you follow courses of 7.5 ECTS points each, you must follow a minimum of two courses per quarter to obtain a workload of 60 ECTS per year. You may combine courses to create an individual profile. You may also choose to stay for quarter, a semester, or a year. The table below shows examples of courses within the three areas of focus.
