PhD, is Assistant Professor of Innovation Organised as Projects at the Centre for Integrative Innovation Management at SDU. She is also Head of Studies for SDU’s Master in Project and Innovation Management.
She is educated in industrial engineering and management and has previously worked in different industries as a project manager and as Chief Executive. She has also founded and led her own consulting company for a decade dealing with clients from the private sector, defence, and EU projects.
Her research revolves mainly around managing projects on the organisational level, including how the management level can increase value generation from projects. She has also researched project portfolio management and what researched-based knowledge exists on preconditions and decisions on implementing and managing project portfolios.
She has furthermore participated in research projects on open innovation in the transport sector, project governance of public IT projects, project portfolio management in Denmark, and leadership in innovation projects.

PhD stud., is Associate Professor of Engineering Operations Management at the Department of Technology and Innovation at SDU. He has a role as the faculty coordinator of additive manufacturing at the Faculty of Engineering. He is educated as a manufacturing engineer and holds a MSc in International Marketing, has worked in different industries as a commercial product manager, and has started own businesses. He represents SDU at the advisory board of IBA Nexttech (3D print hub) in Kolding.
His research revolves mainly around how innovative technologies can support competitive advantage in manufacturing entities, which includes bridging between operations management and innovation through a deeper understanding of manufacturing systems, flexibility, and technology adoption.
Recently he has been one of the main contributors to two national screenings of the spread of 3D printing and additive manufacturing in Danish industry.

PhD, is Associate Professor in Consumption, Commerce, and Culture at the Department of Business & Management. She is the head of the research cluster “Sustainable Markets” at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, where she develops and facilitates collaborations between academia and industry.
Her research investigates the socio-cultural barriers that hinder consumers and markets in changing unsustainable consumption practices. She studies this theme in a variety of contexts related to social and environmental sustainability (shopping practices, relation to and consumption of nature, waste avoidance).
Educated as Master of Science in Business Engineering, she has extensive experience in bringing her research expertise into dialogue with business owners, scientists, and engineers. To do so, she not only builds on her education, but also on her long-standing involvement with a fourth-generation family business in the automotive industry, having graduated from naps in the office to being member of the board, after years of working in the company’s sales, accounting, and strategy divisions while growing up.

PhD, is Associate Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at the Centre for Integrative Innovation Management at SDU. She is also Head of Studies for the Master in Management of Technology.
She is educated as an industrial designer, has worked in different industries as a product developer and as Head of Design and New Product Development, and has co-founded and led a start-up.
Her research revolves mainly around opportunities and barriers to development, commercialisation, implementation, and adoption of emerging technologies, such as drones and digital health technology. She has initiated, coordinated, and contributed to a range of research and innovation projects focusing on, e.g., mapping various needs for and barriers to widespread drone logistics, advising drone-oriented start-ups on their commercialisation strategy, developing future scenarios for emerging technology, and enhancing creativity. Moreover, she is affiliated to and a member of the Research Committee of the Centre for Innovative Medical Technology at Odense University Hospital.
She also reviews business books for the newspapers Finans.dk + JP Erhverv and thus inspires businesspeople on what to read to gain insights into topics related to technology, innovation, and general management.

Head of Research in International Business & Entrepreneurship at the Department of Business & Management at SDU. His research centres on internationalisation of technology-driven SMEs and new ventures. Recently this has led to increased research focus on sustainability-related issues in internationalisation of SMEs and new ventures.
He has an interdisciplinary educational background and a broad experience in teaching in diverse disciplinary contexts at different levels. He has experience in executive work in connection to higher education institutions, technology intensive businesses, and academic networks. His funding experience is broad, spanning from direct industrial funding from partner firms to European funding frameworks such as Horizon 2020.
As Head of Research of the International Business & Entrepreneurship research unit, he has extensive experience in peer reviewing and evaluation in onboarding activities at the departmental level but also through international peer community evaluations. In addition to this, he is acting reviewer at a range of top-level outlets such as Journal of International Business, Journal of World Business, and Entrepreneurship & Regional Development and has developed a wide active international network which is particularly strong in the Nordic region. Professor of International Business and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School, and Director of the GLORAD Center for Global R&D and Innovation with offices in Silicon Valley, São Paulo, St. Gallen, and Shanghai. Previously, he was Professor of Technology Management at IMD International in Switzerland and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
He also was Professor of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at Skoltech in Moscow, Russia. His subject matter expertise covers global R&D, new product development, and corporate incubation. Outside academia, he served as Vice President with PRTM Management Consultants, where he was the lead for global new product development and innovation projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He co-founded and led AsiaCompete, a 15-person technology scouting firm in Shanghai.
Originally trained as a computer scientist, he worked in software development for Siemens in the USA and in algorithm research for NTT in Japan. His current research focuses on critical capabilities mid-sized firms need to implement operational strategies for international growth and innovation.

Section Head for Engineering Operations Management at the Department of Technology and Innovation, SDU. He works as an academic, section head, business entrepreneur, advisor, and trainer within the field of global shipping, logistics, and manufacturing operations. He is currently leading a portfolio of Danish and international R&D projects aiming at making the maritime industry more digital, efficient, and sustainable.
He has significant experience shaping and leading cross disciplinary technology and innovation projects in close collaboration with industry partners where the aim has been to deliver tangible business benefits as well as relevant quality scientific outputs. He has over the recent decade worked together with 20+ ship operators, technology vendors, associations, etc. in the maritime domain.
Previous to that he spent more than a decade working with/for manufacturing and shipping businesses, among others a family-owned company from where he has board member experience. He is also a partner of the company LinerGame which deliver training solutions and services to the global shipping and logistics industry.
His expertise is within areas of business strategy, operations and service management, process improvement (Lean Six Sigma), quality control, digitalisation (Industry 4.0), applied statistics, performance management, pricing and revenue management, production planning and control, project and stakeholder management, sustainability, skill building and business simulations/games.

PhD, is Professor (WSR) of Strategic Organization Design at the Department of Business & Management at SDU. He graduated with a PhD from the University of St. Gallen (CH) and worked at London Business School (UK) before joining SDU.
His research is positioned in behavioral strategy and examines how less-hierarchical design of organisations can improve performance. Using a wide range of methodological approaches, including experiments, agent-based modeling, and case studies, he investigates search and problem-solving, cooperation, goal-setting, and delegation.
His work appeared in the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Industrial and Corporate Change, among others, and research results have been used by small and large organisations to improve organisational processes and strategic positioning.

PhD, is Professor of Innovation Management, Head of Research for the Centre for Integrative Innovation Management at SDU. She is also Professor of Innovation Management at Chair “Technology for Change” and Member of Management Research Group at École Polytechnique in Paris.
She has been a visiting researcher at the Griffith Business School in Australia and University of São Paulo in Brazil. Her research is concerned with development, adoption, and commercialisation of emerging technologies like drones, additive manufacturing, and autonomous systems.
She is one of the initiators of the Master in Management of Technology. She has developed, initiated, and managed several research and innovation projects focusing on increasing the innovative capabilities of industrial firms across industrial sectors.
She is further involved in developing innovation strategies, training for innovation, and sustainability strategies for firms either in the capacity of sparring partner, member of advisory board, or member of the board of directors. She is also a business book reviewer for the newspapers Finans.dk + JP Erhverv.
