More about the study

Psychology at the University of Southern Denmark

Psychology at undergraduate level consists of a number of modules, which focus on areas within general psychology, applied psychology, research methods and psychological-skills training.

In your first years of study you will receive a thorough introduction to areas within general psychology such as cognitive psychology and developmental psychology, and the opportunity to conduct research, learn about psychological techniques and about different psychological test- and assessment methods.

Introduction to theories behind applied areas such as health psychology and clinical psychology will provide the student with a foundation upon which training in intervention methods can be developed and upon which the student can begin to consider an area of applied psychology in which to specialise in when on postgraduate level.
