Product developer with business know-how

The overall objective of Engineering, Innovation and Business is to enable graduates to create new product or production based business opportunities, based on sound engineering knowledge and business understanding. You will acquire skills that can be applied both in existing businesses and if you want to establish a business of your own.

You will get thorough knowledge of, for example:

  • Product innovation 
  • Innovation Management 
  • Design and Creativity 
  • Mechatronics technology 
  • Production and operations management 
  • Sustainable products and businesses
  • Mathematics and Physics. 

Engineering, Innovation and Business is an international interdisciplinary programme taught entirely in English.  

The bachelor programme is a three-year programme where you will learn about creativity, innovation, technology and business. Read more about that under the structure of the programme.

After the first three years you study for two years at master level to get the full MSc in Engineering degree. At the master programme you can focus on the academic fields that interest you the most.

Project work and company problem solver

You become part of a project based and problem based study environment where you work in project groups.

You and your fellow students:

  • Are responsible for planning and carrying out the project
  • Must work together and meet the deadlines 
  • Solve problems for Companies 
  • Have access to dedicated space for project work.

In the sixth semester you will write your bachelor project – often in cooperation with a company.

Versatile career paths

With a degree in Engineering, Innovation and Business you will have a range of job opportunities – in Denmark and abroad. Among other things, you could set up your own company or be employed as a development engineer, project manager or researcher.

Graduates who have completed this bachelor programme are entitled to use the title of Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering, Innovation and Business.
