MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law - Part time

This programme is offered in Odense and in Danish

The part time programme gives you a fundamental knowledge of  combining your legal knowledge and methodological skills with business economics. Within this framework, you can specialise by choosing your own courses. This will prepare you for addressing complex legal and financial problems in the private sector. You can specialise in financing and securities trading, for instance, or in international commerce and marketing.

Courses
You will take courses in fundamental areas of property law and business economics. This includes the following mandatory subjects and academic courses:

  • methodology, argumentation and theory of science
  • master’s thesis dealing with an elective topic

You also have an excellent opportunity to steer your study programme in specific directions, as you can choose from a wide variety of different legal and business-economics electives, at least one of which must be conducted in English. It is possible to study abroad, become an intern and/or write seminar projects.

Qualifications
As a qualified business jurist, your skills qualify you for a wide variety of positions in the labour market. Although a law degree is required to become a lawyer, many business jurists find employment with law firms. Others are engaged by banks, insurance companies, employer organisations, trade unions and NGOs. Graduates with an MSc in business administration and commercial law also find employment in segments of the public sector – right across state, municipal and regional governments to the health sector
