Julie Flyger Holflod (link to Pure profile) holds a master’s degree in public health (Cand.scient.san.publ.) and currently she is Ph.d.-student. After finishing her master, Julie travelled to Nuuk, Greenland, where she worked for two years for the Greenlandic self-government in the Ministry of Health.
After end employment in the Ministry of Health, Julie kept the contact to Greenland, and, thus, she is currently Ph.D. student at the project of evaluation on treatment for addiction in Greenland. The project investigates the implementation and effect of the treatment for addiction at Allorfik. Evidence on treatment for addition are sparse in populations with alcohol and drug patterns similar with those of the Greenlandic population. Thus, the project is interesting.
