Evaluation of the RESPECT campaign

Mass media campaigns have shown effectiveness regarding affecting health behavior including alcohol related behavior, though the quality of previous studies have not been good, and not all campaign have been evaluated. Only 10% of Danish people with alcohol problem is in treatment. Thus, it is relevant to investigate whether the mass media campaign RESPECT have affected the health behavior among Danish people with alcohol problem. The study will investigate if the mass media campaign called the RESPECT campaign reduces stigma and leads to more individuals seeking treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD).
