New Investigator Award

The International Conference in the Treatment of Addictive Behaviours sponsors an award at each conference intended to recognize the scholarly contribution of a new investigator in the area of addictions treatment. Applicants for this award are typically graduate students, new faculty or individuals beginning a research career who received their terminal degree no more than 10 years ago. To be considered for the New Investigator Award (NIA), applicants should submit an abstract as described above for either a poster or symposium. In the electronic submission process, the applicant should follow instructions to designate their submission for consideration for the NIA and should include a Curriculum Vitae with their submission. The New Investigator Award includes a cash prize.
