The results from the FreeD project will be disseminated in research publications and the media. In addition, SDU and HCA Airport will host an annual international UAS competition for researchers and small-to-medium-sized enterprise innovators aiming to establish a UAS community and a basis for research collaboration.
Industrial partners will be able to recruit future experts and exploit UAS R&D activities.
Activities will be linked to the SDU MSc. programme in UAS technologies advancing skilled students of robotics into key roles in the UAS sector. Students from the MSc. In Product Development and Innovation (PDI) will be engaged in linking technology development with the business aspects.
