Technology transfer to industry

In connection with MADE WP8, vision and feeding technologies developed at SDU Robotics have been integrated into a flexible robot cell running at Danfoss in Silkeborg. The robot cell is based on the modular concept developed in the research project CARMEN, whereas the vision and feeding technology is developed in MADE. This integration is an excellent example of technology transfer between academia and the fruitful collaboration between the involved parties in MADE and CARMEN. The contributors to the solution include University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University, Danish Technological Institute, Technicon and Danfoss.
