There are substantial amounts of garden/park waste generated in Denmark that are delivered to compost centers. The purpose of this project is to assess the possibilities of using garden/park waste already collected on Funen to alternative options. It establishes three scenarios, composting, biogas and a combination of them. The results of this project show which method that is the best to use for garden/park waste on Funen in relation to the future energy system.
