The Orthopaedic Research Unit

The Orthopaedic Research Unit

Research Areas: - Health Sciences - Epidemiology Registers - Clinical Research - Experimental Research

The Orthopaedic Research Unit at the University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital has presented itself within several research areas. Clinical and experimental research as well as research within epidemiology, including register research and accident analysis, are some of the main topics.

A series of attached laboratories enters various research fields - The Orthopaedic Research Laboratory, Gait Analysis Laboratory and Stereo Radiology Laboratory.

A competent permanent staff is running the research unit along with talented and engaged PhD-students as well as capable researchers. On the home front we are engaged with several institutes and departments at the University of Southern Denmark and the Odense University Hospital. Furthermore, we have good relationships and collaborators nationally and internationally.

We are always interested in hearing from research candidates regarding participation in our on-going projects, but we would also like to hear from your regarding development of new research projects.
