Persons involved in clinical research at the Region of Southern Denmark or Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark are prioritised, but external researchers may participate if available place. We reserve the right to deregister external participants for up to one week before course start, if internal participants are on the waiting list. External participants will be charged a fee.
1-day REDCap course:
REDCap is a user-friendly browser based application designed to create data instruments and surveys and to facilitate easy capture of research data in projects with one or many collaborators. The workshop is intended for people who are involved in clinical research in the South Region and are engaged in designing, building and managing schedules and collections of research data.

Data management plan and responsible handling of research data:
The participants are introduced to central elements of data management in research projects, relevant legislation, data base construction and data control.
A cource dealing with the essentials of a PhD. The cource deals with general administration , E-learn and Blackboard, financing and more.
GCP and investigator-initiated clinical trials:
This course is intended for academic researchers who are about to conduct a clinical trial with a medicinal product or a clinical trial with a medical device.
Register-based Clinical Epidemiology Research
The participants are introduced to registers, clinical databases and register-based studies, clinical epidemiological methods within register-based research and how to design register-based studies. Furthermore, data management in relation to data control and the establishment of analysis data sets.

The course is intended for people involved in collecting and entering data in relation to research using REDCap.
OPEN Pharmacoepidemiology Seminar
Professor Suzanne Cadarette from Leslie Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, will be speaking along with Jesper Hallas, Maja Skov Paulsen and Bo Abrahamsen.
IBD - Inflammatory bowel disease:
A seminar dealing with inflammatory bowel disease, divided into 4 parts (News in treatment, IBD epidemiology, the creation of molecular biological studies on intestinal biopsies and prediction of response to anti-TNF therapy) followed by discussions.
OPEN Cancer Epidemiological Seminar:
A seminar dealing with cancer epidemiology, divided into four parts: Comorbidity as a predictor of cancer treatment, AgeCare, CanEpid and Results of CanEpid.
Data management plan and responsible handling of research data
The Research training programme in Clinical Research has, together with OPEN, developed this short course on responsible and correct handling of research data for senior researchers at OUH/SDU.
Register based Clinical Research:
Participants will be introduced to the unique opportunities for scientific exploitation of the Danish health registers and clinical databases. Furthermore, data management in connection to the establishment of analysis dataset.
