Title of the project: Hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell carcinoma: an overview of case reports.

The master thesis is a study conducted by creating a databaseout of published case reports and cohort studies of patients with hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell carcinoma (HLRCC). The aim of the study is to characterize HLRCC patients by describing the manifestations of the syndrome (cutaneous leiomyoma, uterine leiomyoma, and renal cell cancer). Futhermore, the study will investigate ages of symptom onset, diagnosis and treatment, family history, fumarate hydratase mutation and how the diagnosis was made. By characterizing these patients, the hope is to get a better understanding of HLRCC.
