Michael Evan Goodsite to be new Pro-Dean for research at TEK
Michael Evan Goodsite has been headhunted for a newly created position as Pro-Dean for research. At the same time he will be temporarily appointed as Head of the ITI Department.
As of 1 December, Michael Evan Goodsite will return to TEK as a professor acting as Pro-Dean for research. At the same time he will be temporarily appointed as Head of the Department of Technology and Innovation.
' The Faculty and I need a Pro-Dean for research, and Michael Evan Goodsite is highly qualified for the task. Therefore, I am very pleased that he has chosen to return to TEK', says Henrik Bindslev.
Most people at TEK will remember Michael Evan Goodsite as Head of Department at the Department of Technology and Innovation, before he made a brief detour as Executive Vice President for regional development at the Region of Southern Denmark.
Michael Evan Goodsite is a renowned environmental scientist capable of combining his origins as a structural engineer with the world’s climate challenges. At the same time he is much respected as a responsive leader, always working constructively and purposefully towards finding solutions.
'As a Pro-Dean for research I’m looking very much forward to take part in strengthening and developing the Faculty’s research activities, including fundraising, business collaboration and strategic initiatives towards public and private foundations and collaboration partners both nationally and internationally.
