OMNIBUS I-II

OMNIBUS I and OMNIBUS II were launched as umbrella projects for sub-projects studying the importance of genes and environment for the development of common diseases and health conditions in young twins.

For both OMNIBUS I-II standardized questionnaires were developed and mailed to the participants. A total of 29,433 twins born from 1953-1982 participated in OMNIBUS I, and in OMNIBUS II a total of 34,934 twins born from 1931-1982 participated. A major part of the twins participated in both OMNIBUS I and OMNIBUS II.
