Uffe Holm Søholm has been affiliated with the Department of Psychology, SDU since February 2019. He is a medical doctor of background, and finished his master in medicine in January 2019. Uffe’s research is primarily organized around the psychological consequences of low blood glucose (hypoglycemia) in people with insulin dependent diabetes. Low blood glucose influence quality of life negatively, and is a huge limiting factor in archiving optimal blood glucose levels.

Uffe's research will especially be focused on the use of "Ecological momentary assessment" in combination with "Continuous glucose monitoring" to investigate the day-to-day impact of low blood glucose.
