Award for Peter Kornerup
for best computer science paper
Peter Kornerup, Professor Emeritus, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, has received an award for “best computer science paper” in 2013 along with his co-authors Vincent Lefèvre, Nicolas Louvet and Jean-Michel Muller. The award was given by the French popular science magazine La Recherche, and it was given for the paper On the computation of Correctly Rounded Sums. IEEE Trans. Computers 61 (3): 289-298 (2012).
