Pre-conference / PhD Course
The pre-conference is a PhD course lasting one day.
Chairs: Anke Piekut (associate prof, PhD, SDU) and Kristine Kabel (assistant prof, PhD, UCC). Other participants: Mary Macken-Horarik and organizers of NNMF 6.

Requirements and ECTS
1 November at the latest, all participants should send a presentation of their PhD project in English (1-2 pages). In addition, participants should read articles and material from other PhD students sent before the course, and participate actively in the course. This will elicit 1 ECTS.
In addition, participants may send 6-10 pages related to the PhD project (e.g. excerpts from work in progress papers on theory, analysis and/or discussion) asking for response on this material at the course. The material could be written in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or English. If you wish to get response from Macken-Horarik, the material has to be written in English. Deadline for sending the material is 1 November. This will elicit a total of 2 ECTS.
It is free to participate in the pre-conference / PhD course. Participation includes free lunch and coffee and tea etc. during the day
