Sabrina Vitting-Seerup, PhD-candidate

Sabrina Vitting-Seerup is a PhD Fellow at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen. She holds a MA in Modern Culture and a BA in Comparative Literature and Communications, both from the University of Copenhagen. Before she joined the research group, she worked as Head of Communication and Marketing in the book industry and as a freelance writer and lecturer. Her research focuses upon Danish culture and cultural politics, more precisely how Danish cultural institutions and current cultural products depict migrants and descendants. Her main topics of interest involve diversity, representation, European cultural politics, the post-migrant condition and Othering-processes.
