20/04 PD Dr. Ulrike Stamm, Humboldt University Berlin, gives a lecture on “Femininity, sexuality and love in images of the harem in the nineteenth century” at University of Southern Denmark.
24/05 Sabrina Vitting-Seerup speaks about the migrant's position in Danish culture at the event 'When Cultures Meet’, organised by Junior Chambers International and the union Lederne. The keynote was the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kristian Jensen.
25/04-29/04 Anne Ring Petersen co-organizes the PhD seminar ”Trans-Formations: Travelling cultures, cosmopolitan identities and migratory memories” at the Sandbjerg Estate, Sønderborg. A joint venture between the Copenhagen Doctoral School of Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen and The Graduate School of Arts at Aarhus University, co-organized with Karen-Margrethe Simonsen (Aarhus University). With keynotes by Marsha Meskimmon, Nikos Papastergiadis, Anders Jönson and Moritz Schramm. Attended by research group members Anne Ring Petersen, Sabrina Vitting-Seerup, Mads Anders Baggesgaard, Moritz Schramm and Frauke Wiegand.

10/06-11/06 Moritz Schramm teaches at Friedrich Schiller University Jena on German-Danish relations, with focus on the Danish Colonial Past and the contemporary political discourses on migration and integration in Denmark, among other issues.
14/06-18/06 Sabrina Vitting-Serup wins the Junior Chambers International Public Speaking Championship 2016 in Tampere Finland with a talk on migration and diversity.
23/06-24/06 Moritz Schramm co-organizes a panel on “Postmigrant Societies in Europe? – New Transnational & Interdisciplinary Perspectives” at the 2nd Annual Conference of the nccr – on the move (“Changing Realities of Migration and Mobility”), at the University of Neuchatel, Switzerland, together with Kijan Esperhangizi, EHT Zürich. 03/11 Sabrina Vitting-Seerup won The World Public Speaking Championship at the finals in Quebec City in Canada with her speech on diversity and tolerance. She was qualified for a spot in the world finals after having won local, regional, national, and European finals. She now posses the title as the worlds greatest public speaker 2016. The title is awarded by the organisation JCI, which has over 180.000 members around the world. Sabrina Vitting-Seerup became a member of the organisation Pluralisterne’s Advisory Board. Pluralisterne works towards creating equal representation in the Danish press.
08/05 Anne Ring Petersen, ”1+1 Jens Haaning og Anne Ring Petersen”, artist talk with Jens Haaning about his art, politics and postmigration. Organised by students at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen.
09/05 Moritz Schramm gives a talk on European perspectives in German politics at the public library of Odense. Organised by by Europabevægelse Fyn (European movement, Fuen). 
17/05 Sabrina Vitting-Seerup became a permanent diversity adviser to the citizens' campaigns arranged by the organisation Medborgerne.
18/05 – 19/05
Anne Ring Petersen and Sabrina Vitting-Seerup participated in the conference “Shared Cultural Context and Interpersonal Understanding” held at the University of Copenhagen.
19/05 Sabrina Vitting-Seerup was one of the main speakers at the RØST festival held at KØS - Museum for Art in Public Spaces, where she talked about diversity and tolerance and participated in a debate with professor of Rhetoric Christian Kock.
02/06 Sabrina Vitting-Seerup was part of the jury behind the Danish comics award Pingprisen 2017. In addition to be part of the jury discussing the nominated, she interviewed the winners and handed out the main award of Best Danish Comic Book 2017 at Storm P. Museet.
02/06 Sabrina Vitting-Seerup was interviewed by the Danish national newspaper Information about the representation in the movie Wonder Woman. The title of the Article was (translated): “Wonder Woman is the psychological propaganda for the new type of woman that will rule the world”.
