My research interests are within B2B Marketing and International Marketing with a special focus on Digitalization and Internet of Things.
In the future, Digitalization and IoT will play a central role in everyday life and it will open new business and market opportunities. Opportunities for changing and sharing digital data give companies options for creating additional value for their customers and suppliers and for maintaining relationships in new ways. In relation to this, my research focus on how B2B companies build relationships on IoT platforms and how stickiness is constructed to customer and supplier.
I conduct my research in global B2B companies in close interaction with the companies. The interaction with the companies is an important part of the research process as it gives me the possibility to understand and gain knowledge about the investigated topic from a business angle.
Additional to my research career I have a long national and international teaching experience within B2B and international marketing. My practical experience comes from jobs as project manager, owner of my own consultancy business and as senior consultant in the international department of the Confederation of the Danish Industry (DI) in Copenhagen.
