PhD as part of a project
We are always looking for candidates who wants to do a PhD project as part of a larger externally funded research project. Such PhD projects are already well defined and are carried out in close collaboration with a project group. Please keep an eye on the list of vacant PhD vacancies here.
Industrial PhD
As an industrial PhD, you will be employed by a company, and at the same time you will have a strong affiliation with our department where approximately half of your workload will be placed. The purpose of this type of engagement is:
- to educate researchers whilst they gain an insight into commercial aspects of research and development
- to build networks for the exchange of knowledge between companies and universities
