About SBS Days

SDU Business School Days is a recurring annual event where students are in close contact with some of the real-life-challenges that companies and our society face. It’s two weeks with a sharp focus on bridging theory and praxis, on career planning and professional and social networking – planned in a collaboration between Business School faculty and students.

The SBS Business School Days 2022 event contains a great variety of activities:

Case Competition and workshop
The case competition runs during the two weeks. Companies present a challenging case for the students to propose a solution to individually or in groups - and faculty staff will facilitate their case development.

Voice boards

Mobile notice boards where students can share ideas, comments, messages etc. about SDU Business School strategy, identity, content etc. The boards are incorporated in select lectures and moved to all planned activities.

LinkedIn Workshop
LinkedIn experts will counsel students on how to create a strong LinkedIn profile and help them build their professional network.

Entrepreneurship theme-day
Students are invited to the SDU Entrepreneurship Labs where they are introduced to MakerSpace, Lasercutting, 3D-print and prototyping. They can jump on a guided tour in Videnbyen (MakerSpace, Startup Station, Startup i Praksis, Accelerator), and hear the entrepreneurial adventure of Julian Barker, InterCare - a former student at SDU Business School.

Career and student-life conference
Fair with visiting companies looking for academic talent; student associations; professional organizations; and a career advice station by RIO.
Case Competition participants will present their solutions in poster format. The fair will be setup with tall round “café-tables” in 3 zones: Case Competition, Career, and Student-life.
The career zone will feature a ”lounge” area where students and companies can talk comfortably and explore opportunities.

Grand finale
Afterparty with networking and ‘hygge’ and proclamation of the elected Case Competition winners 2022.
