New report on industrial 3D print

A newly published report concludes that 25% of the Danish industry uses 3D print to some extend.

The underlying project is carried out by Center for Integrative Innovation Management (Professor Mette Præst Knudsen) and AM-Hub (‘Additive Manufacturing’) and funded by Industriens Fond (The Danish Industry Foundation). The report points to a wide range of benefits by using the AM technology, but it also analyzes the barriers that prevent companies from applying it. Finally it offers examples of how to get maximum pay off from investments in the technology.
