Our starting point is the cooperation between markets, organisations and individuals, and our research is wide-ranging from evolutionary organisational models to new exotic forms of consumption. It is our ambition to be international leaders in these areas and achieve synergy between research, teaching and knowledge-sharing.
Department of Marketing & Management (IMM) is a department under the Faculty of Business and Social Science
The Department has units in respectively Odense, Slagelse and Sønderborg and it directed by Jeanette Lemmergaard.
IMM works in a quantitative and qualitative manner and aims to build the bridge between applied research and fundamental research. The Departments activities is organised into five research units.
The Department of Marketing & Management offers a wide range of subjects on a number of programmes at Bachelor’s and Master’s level within social science and other areas. The department contributes to business economics (BSc and MSc in Business Administration) and Market & Management Anthropology at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The department also contributes to Negot (Business Language and Culture) and Media Science at the Faculty of Humanities, as well as engineering programmes at the Faculty of Engineering. In addition, the department offers supplementary subjects within marketing, branding and communication. Finally, the department has a number of activities within continuing education, especially on Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).
