Facilities

It is crucial for the plans for mechanics and mechatronics that modern laboratories are available. Based on existing facilities at SDU Sonderborg and the digital network MyMecLab, 7 laboratories are established in collaboration with CIE and NanoSYD:

Four application laboratories

  • Autonomous off-road vehicle lab
  •  Robot design 1 and 2
  • Linear actuator lab (CIE)

Development lab (The Core, with focus on additive manufacturing

Cyberphysical lab

Structural test lab for mechanical, materials and surface characterisation (NanoSYD and CIE).
