Comparing National Data Sources in the Field of Migration and Integration (COMPSTAT)
The basic objective of COMPSTAT is to collect essential technical information on various sorts of regularly produced micro-datasets and statistics (registers, counts, censuses, sample surveys) usable for studies on the integration of immigrant minorities in Europe and, thereby, to contribute to establishing comparability of these data and to lay the foundations for comparative monitoring of integration processes in Europe.

Data base on Irregular Migration
The database is on irregular migration in twelve European countries. European Statistics (EUROSTAT)
EUROSTAT is the statistical office of the European Union situated in Luxembourg. Its task is to provide the European Union with statistics at European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions.

Migration Policy Institute (MPI)
The MPI database provides access to immigration data, stock, flow, net migration, asylum, and naturalization data over time and generates charts.

The Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI)
NIDI is a research institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) engaged in the scientific study of population. Its data sources site, via “links”, has a comprehensible list and links to both European, Middle Eastern, and worldwide statistical offices. The section under “Organizations” presents an overview of research institutes and organizations in the field of demography and population studies available on the World Wide Web subdivided by region.

Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD)
OECD conducts continued monitoring of migration movements and policies in member countries and outside the OECD area, and in-depth analysis of the economic and social aspects of migration. The OECD manages several databases dedicated to international migration, provides various statistics, and gives information by country.

PROMISTAT builds on the earlier project COMPSTAT. The main aim of PROMINSTAT is to promote comparative quantitative research on migration, integration and discrimination in Europe, to enhance the knowledge base on statistical data collection in this field and thus to contribute to the improvement of statistics on migration, integration and discrimination.
