We had our first student conference in October 2012 at Al-Balad Theatre with the participation of 31 Jordanian university students dealing with the quality of education in the Jordanian university system. The next student conference, "Young Scholars Conference", was took place on April 23, 2013 focusing on "The Arab Spring - roles, causes and consequences". There was three panel debates with master students presenting their papers, which were selected in a paper competition.
April 8, 2014 we asked the question: 'Has the Arab Spring Failed? - Three Years Later'. Master's students from University of Jordan, AUB, and the University of Southern Denmark participated in three panel debates covering: (1) Radicalism and Extremist Movements, (2) Democratic Transitions and Democracy Promotion and (3) Youth and Gender.
