Kedar Natarajan is a Danish-Institute of Advanced Study (D-IAS) Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB).

Kedar’s research investigates the fundamental process of cell cycle during embryonic development (embryonic stem cells) at single-cell resolution. Kedar and his team focus on understanding how the crosstalk between cell cycle and gene expression influences cell-fate decisions in embryonic stem cells. The lab utilizes a wide variety of wet- and dry-lab tools to explore the mechanisms involved during cell-fate decisions.
