We isolate, screen and develop new drugs such as proteins, nucleic acids and natural compounds.
We work with formulating existing drugs like chemotherapy or antibiotics for new therapeutic modalities, as well as novel pre-formulation with crystal engineering including polymorphism, salt/co-crystals formation. We perform quantitative analyses that can contribute to new investigations.
We develop processes for producing and purifying active pharmaceutical ingredients and we are devising new formulation methods for targeted drug delivery nanoparticles, controlled release systems and antisense treatment, enhanced dissolution rate for poorly water soluble drugs.
