Research in the field of energy at the Faculty of Engineering includes the production of energy from sources such as solar, wind and biomass and the use of energy in buildings, transport and industry / agriculture.
The road away from fossil fuel
In the transition from centralized, fossil-based energy production to decentralized energy production from solar, wind and biomass, sectoral coupling and coherence between energy production and consumption will be important elements. The research activities therefore also focus on research in P2X / energy storage and the use of digitalization / AI / big data.
