By the Creativity and Innovation in the Digital Age Cluster

Date: 17th January, 2024  (morning)

Location:  SDU, Campusvej, BMB seminar room (v18-501.1)

Keynote speaker: Kathrin Maurer, Professor (wsr) for Humanities and Technology

 

Theme:

The conference brings together researchers from various disciplines studying the positive and negative role of digital technologies for creativity, innovation, and the digital transformation of society.

Relevant research areas and topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • AI in innovation and innovation through AI,
  • Societal transformation and digital technologies,
  • Danger, decline, discrimination, and deterioration of, by, and despite AI,
  • AI and the transformation of value chains and industries,
  • AI and the present and future of (news) media,
  • Human-centered AI and ethical challenges,
  • AI and the creative process

Abstract submission procedure:

We welcome abstracts from researchers who want to present their work within these or related themes. Cluster Members are encouraged to apply. You are invited to submit a title, max. 250 words abstract, and list of authors with affiliations. The selection process will be made by the Steering Committee of the Cluster.

About the cluster:

This half-day conference is organized by the Cluster ‘Creativity and Innovation in the Digital Age’ of SDU’s Faculty of Business and social sciences. Clusters are broad, interdisciplinary research networks that work with key societal challenges. This Cluster brings together researchers and other actors in an interdisciplinary search for insight and answers on the many aspects of the digital transformation of society. The purpose of the Cluster is to leverage SDU’s potential to address the exciting and challenging societal changes related to these developments.
