The Library has bought access to the newsletter ”FundraisingUpdate”.

FundraisingUpdate is sent out every week with information about current funding opportunities in Denmark, the EU, and private foundations etc. It also includes information about conferences and trends within fundraising.

Boehringer Ingelheim Fund (Mainz, Germany)

PhD fellowships: The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds awards PhD fellowships to outstanding junior scientists (max. age: 27 years) who wish to pursue an ambitious PhD project of approximately 3 years in basic biomedical research in an internationally leading laboratory.

Deadline: 1 June 2013

Novo Nordisk Fonden

Biotechnology-based synthesis and production research: This program will support fundamental and applied research projects that aim at generating products in improved and more sustainable ways. Projects must involve a clear element of biotechnology, but they may utilize any other scientific and engineering disciplines.

Deadline: 4 June 2013 at 4PM

Novo Nordisk Fonden

Endocrinological research and experimental physiology - Nordic Countries: Funding is available for basic and clinical research in endocrinology and experimental physiology. Grants are not available for applications concerning cancer research. Researchers in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden may apply. The researcher selected by the committee will be invited to submit a five-year research program with regard to receiving a grant of DKK 10 million in portions of 2 million Danish kroner yearly for 5 years.

Marie Curie Research Fellowships

This is the last stage of the 7th Framework Programme. More grants will be financed this year than ever before because the financial resources available are the greatest since the FP7 was launched.
