Information from SOS 28 February 2014
Indication of interest & SOS support for applications
Support Office, Science kindly asks researchers to indicate their interest in certain calls, where the Faculty of Science has a high rate of applications. Up to these specific calls, many researchers need SOS support almost simultaneously. Information on planned applications will help SOS to organize and provide service and support to the researchers in the best possible way.
Two and a half months prior to larger calls, SOS will ask researchers to inform us if they are planning to apply. Candidates are requested to contact SOS or the department heads two months prior to the deadline in question.
In case only budget assistance is needed, SOS must be contacted in this relation no later than 10 working days prior to deadline.
The following terms apply for all other applications and budgets:
- Quality and quantity of application support is dependent on time to deadline.
- Budgets must be submitted for SOS review and the subsequent approval by FSØ 10 working days before application deadline.
Generally, we recommend that candidates who consider applying for major individual grants contact us well ahead of the deadline, in case they need further dialogue concerning the preparation of the application.

The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation (HTF)
The industrial postdoc program is targeting talented researchers in the beginning of their career, i.e. within a maximum of three years (excl. maternity/paternity leave) after obtaining the PhD degree.
Industrial postdoc projects are individual projects of 1-3 years duration applied for by the postdoc candidate. The project is financed by the parties according to the Foundation’s 1-2-3 model based on the principle that all parties contribute their own share of co-funding. In addition to this, the company and the research institution each provide a mentor, who acts as a sparring partner for the industrial postdoc.
Deadline: Wednesday 26 Marts 2014 at noon.
