Jytte Isaksen holds an MA in speech-language pathology and audiology from University of Copenhagen and a PhD in aphasia rehabilitation from University of Southern Denmark. She is employed as assistant professor in the Department of Language and Communication, University of Southern Denmark. Dr. Isaksen’s research are within aphasia rehabilitation including person-centered care, patient and public involvement in research, health communication, conversation partner training of health professionals, and outcome evaluation. She is part of the international research group Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists, serving as a board member and co-chair in a working group about reintegration of people with aphasia.
