Personal data registration

University of Southern Denmark has registered your entered personal data according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsect. 1, litra b. The personal data is registered in the University of Southern Denmark’s study-administrative system (STADS) – and is being handled confidential. The University has furthermore access to obtain information about your address from The General Register Office.

The purpose of the registration is to create a basis for the University to give you counselling and attend to your interests as a student at the University. Furthermore, the University of Southern Denmark will process your information from other databases on the University and other public registers. The purpose of the processing is to heighten the level of information about the educations on the University, to make the educations even better.

The University of Southern Denmark will not disclose any information, unless it is necessary according to law or necessary to attend your interests as a student or the purpose of the University as a public educational institution. The Personal Data legislation provides you the right to get insight in and to rectify the information that is registered, and, upon request, you can have your personal information deleted. If you wish to complain about the processing of the information that has been done by the University, you can file a complaint to The Danish Data Protection Agency, Borgergade 28, 5., 1300 København K.
