Campus Council

On every campus in Jutland there is a campus council. In Kolding, the members of the council are:

  • Per Krogh Hansen, campus manager and head of department
  • Ann Højbjerg Clarke, head of department
  • Bjarne Kay, department manager
  • Ann Marie Sindt Lauridsen, Head of Student Services
  • Claus Trap Christensen, IT-support manager
  • Gitte Bach Markussen, campus librarian
  • Jesper Pihl, head of studies and chairman of the Academic Study Board, associate professor
  • Lisbeth Saxtorph, campus secretary
  • Mads Nygaard Folkmann, head of studies, associate professor
  • Marianne Ankjær, head of studies, associate professor
  • Helle Voss Marker, Projectmanager STAR

The meeting frequency is every two months.

The campus council does not have any decision-making competences, but it is an important consultancy party in connection with new campus initiatives.

Cases to be processed by the campus council must concern matters of principle and must not collide with faculty work. For example:

·  The academic profile of the campus
·  New educational initiatives
·  Development of new research areas
·  Campus marketing
·  Maintaining and recruiting students to the campus
·  Initiation of cross faculty initiatives
·  Co-operation with other educational institutions and research units within the region
·  Collaborative projects with the local business community
