CONFIDE

CONFIDE is a capacity building project in higher education with the aim to strengthen public health (PH) research capacity to inform evidence based policies in Tunisia. The project’s objectives will be reached through four core activities: (1) the establishment of the Center for Evidence into Health Policy (C4EHP), a resource institute to support networking, (2) the delivery of the Research into Policy training program which focuses on three PH areas – PH research, health promotion, evidence-based PH policy, (3) providing internships and career opportunities to trainees and (4) the delivery of a policy simulation game.

The Unit for Health Promotion at SDU is leading the Quality Assurance work package, which carries out the project monitoring and evaluation. Further, the Unit is responsible for developing and delivering the evidence-based ‘train-the-trainer’ PH policy training in Tunisia and also a contributor to other project activities such as being a member of both the Management Committee and Advisory Board.
