The Spearhead project fund 2018-2020

The spearhead project fund is to contribute resources that will make it possible to experiment with methods and digital technologies which can unleash the individual student’s professional as well as social potentials. The executive board wishes to support real innovation through the testing of
new digital and pedagogical possibilities in specific educational environments at SDU.

2020 fund
The deadline for submitting project ideas for the 2020 fund were due on 9 October 2020. 12project ideas were submitted and the 4 project ideas below were funded. The projects will be followed closely by the SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning with the purpose of extracting, documenting and disseminating knowledge and experiences widely at SDU.

  1. New online active learning platform for textbook

  2. Students as partners

  3. Developing a cyber-physical environment for augmented studio-based learning

  4. Digital medias and the core skills of the study of history

2019 fund
The deadline for submitting project ideas for the 2019 fund were due on 17 June 2019. 14 project ideas were submitted and the 3 project ideas below were funded. The projects will be followed closely by the SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning with the purpose of extracting, documenting and disseminating knowledge and experiences widely at SDU.

  1. Curriculum redesign of 3 profiles of the MSc in Economics and Business Administration programme focusing on feed forward and academic bildung across semesters.

2018 fund
The fund was offered for the first time in 2018 and applications were due in May 2018. 9 applications were submitted and the 3 projects below were funded. The projects will be followed closely by the SDU Centre of Teaching and Learning with the purpose of extracting, documenting and disseminating knowledge and experiences widely at SDU. 
  1. Development of blended learning with SDU-PACS for students’ flexible learning and employability – a project across health education programmes
