The employer board of our cross-border studies is essential for our ensuring quality and relevance in our study programs.
The board consists of regional representatives from private and public organizations. The panel advises the head of studies and provides valuable input to ensure the quality of the programs, so they align with the needs of the labor market. Input from board members is actively used and incorporated into the programs in both study programs. The board assesses ideas and policies, e.g., when new programs are developed and when existing ones are revised.
Members of our employer board are, as far as possible, appointed in such a way that they collectively represent the relevant job market for our graduates in the larger Danish-German border region, but also beyond. They possess insight and high experience in the relevant educational area and the employment sectors the programs lead to. Being a member of an employer bord is voluntary work that is highly valued by SDU. On occasion, members offer workshops or guest lectures for our students.
The employer board of the cross-border studies meets at least once a year at SDU Sønderborg, Alsion, or at one of the member’s companies, often in combination with a company tour and/or lunch.
We speak Danish, German and / or English. Members are kindly asked to indicate their language preference.
We thank the employer bord for their invaluable input over the last years and at present times.
The advisory board serves as a forum for dialogue for the above-mentioned programmes at the University of Southern Denmark and can discuss any issues that contribute to promoting good collaboration between the programme and the surrounding society.
