Aim
To design a new generation of wireless capsule endoscopy featuring onboard intelligence (AI) to shift the screening of premalignant and malignant upper and lower gastrointestinal tract disorders towards a non-invasive solution.
Hardware design using 1) AI-powered processing units based on system-on-chips (SOC) designed for integrating machine vision and convolutional neural network computation acceleration and 2) wireless transceivers with over-the-air-programming functionalities.
