Laboratory Animal Science - Supplementing online course

Course description:

This online course is a supplementing course for persons who previously have participated in a EU function AD course. The course provides qualification for persons responsible for animal experiments (license holders, EU function B) and complies to legal requirements for qualification of persons working with laboratory animals, according Danish law, Bekendtgørelse om dyreforsøg, corresponding to European law (EU Directive 2010/63/EU). PhD student can participate in this course if they previously have participated in Laboratory Animal Science 1, for achieving qualification for applying a license for performing animal research.

Intended learning outcome:

After the course, particpants should be able to design procedures and projects on animals for scientific procedures.

Course fee:

The course is free of charge for PhD students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark and other PhD students enrolled in Universities that have joined the "Open market agreement". The course fee for all other participants is DKK 3,044,60.
