Intensive Course in Comsol Multiphysics

Experience Comsol Multiphyiscs - possibilities, modelling practice, and background knowledge

A two day intensive training course in Comsol Multiphysics is held in collaboration with Comsol Multiphysics at Alsion in Sønderborg on
3 - 4 November 2016.

Comsol Multiphysics is a modelling tool based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) and can be used for solving complex physics problems - in particular when multiple fields of physics are involved (e.g. electric heating and corresponding material expansion).

The course is held by Thure Ralfs from Comsol A/S and covers topics such as

  • Geometry creation
  • Meshing
  • Boundary Conditions
  • Solvers
  • CAD import
  • Parametric studies

The course addresses people with a technical background who take an interest in simulation of physics problems. No prior knowledge of Comsol is required. Registration can be done directly with Comsol.
