6-7 January 2022 - The Algorithmic Turn in Security and Warfare
The AutoNorms project, hosted by the Center for War Studies, invites participants to discuss the "algorithmic turn" in the context of diverse settings, including borders, surveillance, predictive policing, weaponised artificial intelligence, and military applications of AI (e.g., image recognition, computer vision). Abstracts must be submitted by October 22nd.

Associate professor Charlotte Epstein will be speaking about her new book, which uses the body to peel back the layers of time and taken-for-granted ideas about the two defining political forms of modernity, the state and the subject of rights.
